Iran's crude oil exports to Asia increased 50%

Iranian crude oil exports to Asian market had 50% growth in March 2016 compared to the previous year.

According to Ministry of Petroleum, the average crude oil imports of China, India, Japan and South Korea from Iran was 1,560,000 barrels per day in March 2016. The figure was about 1,004,000 barrels per day last year.

India's crude oil imports from Iran hit the average of 506,000 barrels a day in March 2016 which was at highest level in the past five years, OPEC affairs and energy forums reported.

South Korea imported 264,000 barrels per day in March 2016 which was around 95% more than last year, however, China and Japan's imports showed a bit fall compared to last year.
