China Iran's largest non-oil importer

China was the largest importer of Iran's non-oil products in the tenth Iranian calendar month of Dey (December 21, 2014 - January 20, 2015).

Iran exported over 24 billion tons of non-oil goods, valued at $8.081 billion, to China in the mentioned month, according to the Iran Customs Administration.

Iraq was the second largest importer of Iranian non-oil goods in the calendar month of Dey, importing over 134 billion tons of products, worth $5.118 billion, from Iran.

The United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, India and Turkey were the third to sixth largest importers of non-oil goods from Iran, respectively, in the tenth Iranian month.

Iran's non-oil exports rose 24.21 percent in the first ten months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2014-January 20, 2015), compared to the same period in the previous year.

Iran exported 81.968 million tons of non-oil goods, worth $42.584 billion, and imported 34.38 million tons of non-oil goods, worth $43.677 billion during the ten-month period. Iran's non-oil imports rose 15.44 percent year on year.

On June 12, Trade Promotion Organization of Iran Director Valiollah Afkhami-Rad said Iran's annual non-oil exports were projected to rise by 50 percent and hit $47 billion in the current Iranian calendar year.
