BiofuelReport of the two international organizations shows that the cattle rising and biofuel production will increase, comparatively to the cereal production, in the next decade all around the globe.

In the Agricultural Outlook 2014-2023, of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) and the United Nation Food And Agriculture Organization (FAO), the shift in human feeding standard and the growing demand for biofuel will lead to a smaller production of primary cereals such as wheat and rice.

Agriculture should move towards the production of secondary cereals, such as wheat, maize, barley and sorghum, and oily plants, such as soy and rapeseed, to meet the increase in demand for food and biofuel.

Meat, dairy and fish prices will rise, but in actual terms and in medium-term, cereal and animal products prices will have a decline, says the report.
