There were 34 new coronavirus cases reported in Croatia in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of cases to 2,725, the national crisis management team said in a statement on Monday.

There were no new coronavirus-related fatalities reported in the last 24 hours. The current death toll still stands at 107.
There are 463 active cases currently in Croatia with 65 people in hospital and one patient currently on a ventilator.
In late May, Croatia opened its borders to ten EU countries. The country had recorded few or no infections at all since mid-May.
When the two-week self-isolation measure was introduced for travelers entering Croatia from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo and Macedonia, it was explained by the poor epidemiological situation in those countries and the fact that most new cases in Croatia came from those countries.
The Croatia Parliamentary Elections are to be held on Sunday, 5 July. ■
