Large part of Greece shut down in 24-hour walkout

A large part of Greece is shut down on Tuesday, as the country’s main private sector labour union or ADEDY and the Athens-Piraeus Labour Centres have called a 24-hour walkout, protesting against changes in labour issues, including tighter rules in calling a strike.

The strike has disrupted public transport while seamen, and civil servants will stay off work. Also journalists will participate in the industrial action in the afternoon.
