The death toll of the Sunday powerful earthquake in west of Iran has risen to 214, while the number of the injured are reported to be 2,504.

The 7.3-magnitude earthquake rocked west of Iran and areas in east of Iraq on Sunday night killing at least 214. The quake, being at a depth 11 km, occurred at 21:05 local time (17:35 GMT).
Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution in a message on Monday ordered swift rescue operations to help quake victims. ■
