A further 73 containers have been taken off the ship Kea Trader which has been stuck on a reef off New Caledonia since July.
Shipping More than 200 containers have been removed
Three weeks ago, more than half a million litres of fuel were pumped out of its tanks, averting the risk of a spillage.
The brand new vessel ran onto the Durand Reef near Mare while sailing from Papeete to Noumea in circumstances which have not been explained yet. ■
