Biman flight makes emergency landing at Ctg airport, Bangladesh

An international flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying 100 passengers has made an emergency landing at Shah Amanat International Airport, Bangladesh, following a technical glitch on Monday afternoon.

Kazi Khairul Kabir, acting manager of Shah Amanat International Airport, told the Dhaka Tribune that the Dhaka-bound flight of the national flag carrier coming from Singapore made an emergency landing at 5:44pm.

"An engine of the plane broke down all of a sudden. However, the pilot made the emergency landing safely. There has been no damage or casualties," the airport manager added.
