An earthquake measuring 5.8 on the Richter scale shook Colombian territory, with no deaths or injuries reported but some damage to houses.

The National Unit for Disaster Risk Management is monitoring with the support of departmental and municipal councils to locate possible damages.
The earthquake is the fifth most intense in Santander in the last 20 years and was felt strongly in Bucaramanga, the departmentÂ´s capital, as well as in Cucuta and Medellin. ■
