Wuhan coronavirus: Russia-China railway passenger traffic suspended until March 1

Passenger railway traffic between Russia and China is temporarily suspended to curb spread of pneumonia caused by Wuhan coronavirus, Russian Railways said in a statement.

"Railway passenger traffic is temporarily restricted through certain parts of the state border between the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China," the statement reads.

The Moscow-Beijing international rail link is still operating, however.

Russian Railways reiterated that unused tickets for cancelled trains purchased in Russian sales offices can be refunded without any fees.
