Turnover increased, month-on-month, in sale and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles by 1,4%, retail sale by 0,1%. It dropped in food and beverage service activities by 4,2%, accommodation by 3% and wholesale by 1,5%.

Turnover in wholesale decreased, year-on-year, by 6,7%; it was the most significant decrease since July 2016. The development was mostly influenced by lower turnover in other specialized wholesale by 12,1%, non-specialized wholesale by 9,2% and in wholesale on a fee or contract basis by 10%. Turnover increased only in wholesale of household goods and in wholesale of machinery and equipment.
Turnover in retail trade continued to decrease. In November 2019, it decreased by 4% as a result of a fall mostly in retail sale in non-specialized stores by 3,8%, retail sale of other goods in specialized stores by 4,7% and in retail sale of automotive fuels in specialized stores by 4,9%. Turnover rose only in retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco in specialized stores and in retail sale in stalls or markets.
Turnover in accommodation increased by 15,3% in comparison with November 2018.
Turnover in food and beverage service activities rose by 23,1%, year-on-year.
Turnover in sale and repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles increased by 6,3%. Turnover increased in sale of motor vehicles by 6,6%, sale of parts and accessories of motor vehicles by 14,3% and in repair and maintenance of motor vehicles by 2,9%.
Turnover in wholesale decreased by 0,2%, year-on-year. A decrease was affected by lower turnover mostly in other specialized wholesale by 3,4%, wholesale on a fee or contract basis by 5,8% and in non-specialized wholesale by 1,9%. Turnover was higher, mainly in wholesale of household goods and in wholesale of food, beverages and tobacco.
Turnover in retail trade decreased, year-on-year, by 1,2% due to lower turnover in retail sale in non-specialized stores by 2,7%, in retail sale of other goods in specialized stores by 3,6% and in retail sale of ICT equipment in specialized stores by 5,8%. In other activities, turnover increased most considerably in retail sale of food, beverages and tobacco in specialized stores.
Turnover in accommodation increased by 13,3%, year-on-year.
Turnover in food and beverage service activities rose by 18,1%. ■
