Thai inflation eases in July, month-on-month prices down 0.35%

Thailand's inflation slowed slightly in July, data published by the Commerce Ministry showed.

Economy in Asia   Core consumer prices moved up 0.76 percent
Consumer prices gained 0.1 percent in July from prior year, slower than the 0.38 percent increase seen in June. This was the fourth consecutive rise in prices.

At the same time, core consumer prices that strips out raw food and energy prices, moved up 0.76 percent versus 0.8 percent in June. Month-on-month, consumer prices dropped 0.35 percent in July.

During January to July, consumer prices decreased 0.07 percent from the same period of last year.
