Switzerland's economy grew more slowly than expected in the fourth quarter, as weakness in exports offset a healthy rise in consumer spending.
Europe Swiss GDP grew 1.3%
Gross domestic product advanced 0.1% in the three months to end-December from the previous quarter and was up 0.6% from the same quarter the previous year, according to a report from the economics ministry.
For the year as a whole, GDP grew 1.3%, an improvement from 0.8% in 2015. ■
