Sweden Q2 growth revised up, GDP rose 3.4 percent

Sweden's economy expanded at a faster pace than estimated earlier, latest data from Statistics Sweden showed.

North Europe   The economy grew 0.4 percent in the first quarter
Gross domestic product grew 0.5 percent from the first quarter, which was faster than the 0.3 percent expansion estimated earlier. The economy grew 0.4 percent in the first quarter.

On a year-on-year basis, GDP rose 3.4 percent, faster than the initial estimate of 3.1 percent. In the first quarter, growth was 4.2 percent.
