Stournaras: It will take Greece 10 years to recover 25% of lost GDP

Greece could recover 25% of the lost GDP during the crisis in the next 10 years, Bank of Greece governor Yannis Stournaras said.

In an interview with the weekend edition of Ta New, Stournaras said that “phrase clean exit” has “no legal or real meaning” as Greece would be under its creditors’ surveillance until it repays 75% of its debt.”

Stournaras said that Greece should deliver on its commitments, otherwise, “the consequences will be dramatic,” and the markets will be the first which will punish deviations.
