South Korea's consumer confidence improved in July, after remaining stable in the previous month, survey figures from the Bank of Korea showed.
Korean economy The composite consumer sentiment index rose by 2 point
Consumer sentiment on current living standards held steady at 91 in July, while their outlook strengthened to 98 from 96.
The index measuring current domestic economic conditions climbed to 71 in July from 68 a month ago. Similarly, their outlook was two points higher at 80.
The expectation for inflation over the following year was 2.4 percent. The survey was conducted among 2,070 households between July 13 and 20. ■
