Serbia's GDP saw 4.8 percent y-o-y growth in real terms in Q3 2019, the national statistical office RZS said.

Observed by activities, in the third quarter of 2019, compared to the same quarter of the previous year, significant real growth in the gross value added was recorded in the section of construction 34.7 percent, the section of information and communication 7.7 percent and the section of wholesale and retail trade; repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles; transportation and storage and accommodation and food service activities 5.4 percent.
Observed by expenditure aggregates, in the third quarter of 2019, compared to the same quarter of the previous year, real growth was noted as follows: the household final consumption expenditure 3.1 percent, the nonprofit institutions serving households (NPISH) final consumption expenditure 2.3 percent, the general government final consumption expenditure 4.6 percent, gross fixed capital formation 17.3 percent, the exports of goods and services 10.2 percent and the import of goods and services 11.4 percent," the RZS said on its website. ■
