Romania's consolidated budget recorded a deficit of 0.8 percent of gross domestic product at the end of August, compared with a shortfall of 0.4 percent in the same period of last year, finance ministry data showed.
Europe The gap was 6.53 billion lei
In nominal terms, the gap was 6.53 billion lei ($1.68 billion). Revenues were at 19.2 percent of GDP, or 160.37 billion lei. ■
