Governor Ricardo Rossello Nevares declared that the estimated number of working people in Puerto Rico exceeds one million, an unprecedented figure in the last five years.

With regard to employed persons, it is the highest number registered in more than five years, according to recent surveys released by the Labor Ministry.
But he acknowledged that "we face great challenges to continue developing Puerto Rico to its maximum level; we still have a lot of work to do." ■
