Output prices in Slovakia increased 0.3%

Europe   Increase in Slovakian manufacturing prices

In October compared with September, output prices of the domestic market in Slovaki increased by 0.3%.

Prices of electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply rose by 0.8%, manufacturing by 0.2%. Prices of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation declined by 0.1%. Prices of mining and quarrying remained unchanged.

In manufacturing, a price increase was recorded in manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products by 1%, transport equipment by 0.7%, chemicals and chemical products by 0.5%, food, beverages and tobacco; wood, paper products and printing equally by 0.4%, textiles, apparel, leather and related products; rubber and plastic products equally by 0.2%.

Prices decreased in manufacture of basic metal and fabricated metal products by 1.2%, basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations by 0.8%, electrical equipment by 0.4%, machinery and equipment n.e.c. by 0.2%, computer, electronic and optical products; other manufacture, repair and installation of machinery equally by 0.1%.

In October 2016 compared with October 2015,output prices of the domestic market fell by 2.8%.

Prices dropped in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 4,5%, manufacturing by 1.%, mining and quarrying by 1.6%. Prices in water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities rose by 0.1%.

In manufacturing, prices declined in manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and preparations by 7.2%, chemicals and chemical products by 6.2%, manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products by 3.2%, transport equipment by 2.7%, and basic metal and fabricated metal products by 2.5%.

Prices declined for wood, paper products and printing by 2.4%, rubber and plastic products by 1%, food, beverages and tobacco by 0.4%, other manufacture, repair and installation of machinery by 0.3%, electrical equipment by 0.2%. Prices in manufacture of textiles, apparel, leather and related products increased by 2.5%, machinery and equipment n.e.c. by 1.2%, computer, electronic and optical products by 0.7%.

Since the beginning of the year, compared with the same period last year, output prices of the domestic market dropped, on average, by 4,7% due to reduced prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 6.5%, manufacturing by 3.9%, mining and quarrying by 2.9%. Prices of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities went up by 0.3%.

In October compared with September, output prices of the non-domestic market rose by 0.3%.

A price increase was registered in mining and quarrying by 0.4%, manufacturing by 0.3%. Prices declined in electricity, gas, steam and air-conditioning supply by 0.8%, water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities by 0.2%.

In manufacturing, increase of prices was registered in manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products by 4,9%, wood, paper products and printing by 1.3%, basic metal and fabricated metal products; machinery and equipment n.e.c. equally by 0.6%, rubber and plastic products; other manufacture, repair and installation of machinery equally by 0.5%.

Prices in manufacture of food, beverages and tobacco decreased by 0.5%, electrical equipment by 0.3%, chemicals and chemical products by 0.1%. Prices in manufacture of textiles, apparel, leather and related products; manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations; computer, electronic and optical products; transport equipment remained unchanged.

In October 2016 compared with October 2015, export prices were reduced by 3.3%.

Prices of electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply dropped by 16.4%, manufacturing by 2.9%, mining and quarrying by 1.4%. Prices of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities rose by 3.5%.

In manufacturing, prices dropped in manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products by 7.1%, chemicals and chemical products by 4,9%, rubber and plastic products by 4%, basic metals and fabricated metal products 2.9%, electrical equipment by 2.8%, transport equipment by 2.6%, food, beverages and tobacco by 2.2%, wood, paper products and printing by 1.8%, textiles, apparel, leather and related products by 1.4%.

A rise in prices was registered in other manufacture, repair and installation of machinery by 2.9%, manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c by 2.7%, coke and refined petroleum products by 1.1%, basic pharmaceutical products and preparations by 0.1%.

Since the beginning of the year, compared with the same period last year, industrial producer export prices dropped, on average, by 4,2% owing to lower prices in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 17.8%, manufacturing by 3.8%, mining and quarrying by 2%. Prices of water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities increased by 1.%.

InOctober, prices of agricultural products were cut by 8%, year-on-year. Prices of crop products dropped by 9,6% and prices of animal products by 4,6%.

In crop products, prices of potatoes decreased by 15.8%, cereals by 17.4%, legumes by 24,6%, oil-seeds and oleaginous fruits by 6.5% and fruit and vegetables by 3.6%.

In animal products, prices of slaughter poultry declined by 6.2%, slaughter lambs and sheep by 2%, hen edible eggs by 14,7%, raw cow milk by 7.8%, raw sheep wool in pot by 12.7% and live fish by 1.4%. Prices of slaughter pigs increased by 5,3% and beef cattle and calves by 0.2%.

On average, since the beginning of the year, prices of agricultural products dropped by 3.9% as a result of lower prices of animal products by 4,7% and crop products by 3.1%.

In October compared with September, construction work prices increased by 0.1%. Compared with October 2015, they rose by 0.7%. On average, since the beginning of the year 2016. construction work prices grew by 1.3%, year-on-year.

In October compared with September, prices of construction materials and components increased by 0.1%. Compared withSeptember 2015, they rose by 0.3%. On average,since the beginning of the year 2016. prices of construction materials and components dropped by 0.5%, year-on-year.
