Consumer prices in Lithuania increased 0.3% in November from the previous month, following October’s 0.2% increase.
Inflation came in at 4.4% in November, matching October’s reading. Meanwhile, harmonized inflation (based on the Harmonized Index of Consumer Prices, HICP) came in at 4.2% in November, also mirroring October’s result.
Meanwhile, annual average HICP inflation rose from 3.3% in October to 3.6% in November.
FocusEconomics Consensus Forecast panelists expect harmonized inflation to reach 2.2% in 2018, which is down 0.1 percentage points from last month’s estimate. In 2019, the panel sees inflation accelerating to 2.4% ■
