Lithuania industrial production drops in August

Lithuania's industrial production declined further in August, figures from Statistics Lithuania showed.
Europe   Production in the manufacturing sector dropped in Lithuania
Industrial production fell a working-day-adjusted 1.2 percent year-over-year in August, which was worse than the 0.7 percent decrease in July.

However, on an unadjusted basis, production climbed 1.6 percent in August from a year ago.

Production in the manufacturing sector dipped 1.3 percent annually in August , while mining and quarrying output expanded by 7.4 percent.

Month-on-month, industrial production slid a seasonally and working-day-adjusted 2.0 percent in August. Without adjustment, production dropped 0.8 percent.
