Japan's exports declined for the 19th straight month in June due to the impact of the coronavirus pandemic, though trade with China showed some signs of recovery.

Exports to China fell 0.2% in June from a year earlier, compared with a 1.9% drop in May. Imports from China rose 0.8%, improving from a 2% fall in the previous month.
Meanwhile, exports to the U.S. remained weak, falling 46.6% due to lower demand for cars and auto parts. ■
