Greek banks' dependence on Eurosystem funding falls

Greek banks’ dependence on the Eurosystem funding decreased for the fiftheenth consecutive month in September reaching to 75 billion euros from 78.5 billion euros in August data from the central bank showed.

ELA stood at 47.6 billion euros in August, down 1.3 billion euros from August.

Also, borrowing from the ECB fell 2.1 billion euros m-o-m to 27.5 billion euros.
