Germany Q2 wages rise at slower pace

Germany   Earnings climbed at a weaker pace of 2.4 percent

Germany's real wages grew at a slower pace in the three months ended June, figures from Destatis showed.

Real wages rose 2.3 percent year-over-year in the second quarter, following a 2.6 percent increase in the previous quarter. The measure has been rising since the first quarter of 2014.

In nominal terms, earnings also climbed at a weaker pace of 2.4 percent annually in the June quarter, after a 2.8 percent rise in the March quarter.
