French trade deficit widens in July

France's trade deficit widened in July from June as imports rebounded, the customs office said.

The trade deficit of the eurozone's second-largest economy rose to 4.5 billion euros ($5 billion) in July from EUR3.5 billion in June.

Exports were flat at EUR36.9 billion and imports rose to EUR41.4 billion from EUR40.4 billion.
