France's gross domestic product stagnated as estimated in the second quarter, the second estimate from the statistical office Insee showed.
France Exports slid 0.1 percent
On the expenditure-side, household consumption showed nil growth versus 1.2 percent expansion in the first quarter.
Government spending growth held steady at 0.4 percent. Investment dropped 0.2 percent following a 1.3 percent rise in the prior quarter.
Exports slid 0.1 percent and imports decreased 2 percent. The net foreign trade contributed 0.6 point to GDP.
On the contrary, changes in inventories contributed negatively again, by -0.7 points. ■
