The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development revised its economic forecast for Greece, seeing growth accelerating 2.0% in 2019 and 2.4% in 2020.

In its latest Regional Economic Prospects, EBRD said that exports of goods and services and private consumption still power economic growth.
However, EBRD warned that a further escalation of trade tensions and rising global uncertainty about policy are major risks to the outlook.
“Economies in the EBRD regions are particularly vulnerable to a further slowdown in the eurozone, a deeper-than-anticipated slowdown in China and protracted weakness in the automotive sector globally,” added. ■
