The Netherlands' economic growth momentum remained unchanged in the second quarter, preliminary data from the Central Bureau of Statistics showed.
Economy in Europe GDP in the Netherlands grew 0.6
The latest growth pace is the fastest since the first quarter of 2015. The economy has expanded for nine quarters in a row, the CBS said. The agency attributed the growth mainly to higher investment, consumption and net exports.
Compared to the same quarter last year, GDP grew 2.3 percent following 1.5 percent increase in the first quarter.
On a calendar-adjusted basis, the economy expanded 1.8 percent year-on-year after 1.5 percent growth in the first three months of the year. ■
