In November, the Industrial Entrepreneur Confidence Index (ICEI) recorded 63.2 points, the highest level in eight years and the first time the index surpassed the 60-point mark since 2011. The data was released by the National Confederation of Industry (CNI).

In the month, optimism was widespread over multiple industrial sectors. All segments saw increases in confidence in comparison with November last year - with highlight to the manufacturing industries (+6.9 points), mining (+8.2 points) and construction (+6.3 points).

The indicator score works like a barometer: if it is above 50, it means there are positive expectations about the future, while results below that threshold indicate entrepreneurs are more pessimistic than optimistic.
