Belarus' foreign trade surplus increased 141%

In January-November 2015 the surplus of Belarus' foreign trade in merchandise and services totaled $485.3 million, 141% compared the same period last year, according the National Bank.

In January-November 2015 Belarus' foreign trade in merchandise and services amounted to $59,890.5 million, 25% down from January-November 2014. Belarus' export totaled $30,187.2 million (24.8% down), with import at $29,702.6 million (25.3% down).

The deficit of Belarus' merchandise trade reached $1,569.3 million while in January-November 2014 the deficit was $1,542.8 million.

Belarus' foreign trade in merchandise dropped by 26.1% to $49,862.9 million, with export down by 26.8% to $24,146.8 million and import down by 25.5% to $25,716.1 million.

In January-November 2015 the surplus of Belarus' foreign trade in services reached $2,054.6 million, 8.9% up from the same period last year. Belarus' foreign trade in services amounted to $10,027.6 million, 80.9% as against January-November 2014.

Export of services totaled $6,014.1 million (84.6%), with import at $3,986.5 million (75.9%).
