For the second quarter of fiscal 2017, the company expects revenues of about $245 million, non-GAAP earnings per share of about $0.09 and GAAP earnings per share of approximately break-even.

For the full year fiscal 2017, Mentor Graphics affirms revenues of about $1.215 billion, non-GAAP earnings per share of about $1.68, and GAAP earnings per share of approximately $1.19.

Cash flow from operations in fiscal 2017 is expected to be approximately $200 million.

“Mentor modestly exceeded guidance for first quarter, although weakness in semiconductor related activity continued,” said Walden C. Rhines, chairman and CEO of Mentor Graphics.

“Bookings and revenue from automotive customers set a first quarter all-time record. Mentor’s customer breadth and our range of system design products and services continue to be an advantage.”
