General Electric Company reported that its third-quarter Industrial operating plus Verticals earnings, a non-GAAP measure, decreased 2% year-over-year to $2.87 billion.
General Electric GAAP earnings rose 7% to $2.10 billion
Third-quarter GAAP earnings from continuing operations attributable to common shareholders rose 7% to $2.10 billion from last year. Earnings per share from continuing operations was $0.23 compared to $0.19.
Third-quarter total revenues and other income increased 4% to $29.27 billion from $28.03 billion, a year ago. Third-quarter orders were $26.9 billion, down 6% on organic basis.
General Electric expects its 2016 Industrial operating plus Vertical earnings per share, a non-GAAP measure, in a range of $1.48-1.52. In July, the company projected its 2016 Industrial plus Verticals EPS to be in the range of $1.45-1.55. ■
