Galliford Try announced 18 percent increase in fiscal year profit before tax to 135 million pounds from 114 million pounds a year ago.
Galliford Revenue climbed 10 percent
Revenue for the period climbed 10 percent to 2.670 billion pounds from 2.431 billion last year. Linden Homes contributed revenue of 840.8 million pounds compared to 779 million in the previous year.
The company has declared a dividend of 82 pence for the year, recording a growth of 21 percent, payable on November 23 to shareholders on record October 28.
The company noted that the decision to leave the European Union inevitably creates a backdrop of uncertainty for the new financial year.
"However, we have been encouraged by visitor levels and sales rates at Linden Homes through the summer. The balance of our businesses and the strength of our order books mean that we are well-placed to manage the impact of this uncertainty,"Galliford said. ■
