Dialog Semiconductor reported unaudited results for the third quarter ended September 29, 2017.
Dialog Semiconductor $363 million
Mobile Systems revenue increased 54% sequentially. Gross margin was 46.9% and underlying gross margin at 47.5%, above the July guidance.
Operating profit of $62.6 million, 2% above Q3 2016. Underlying operating profit of $76.6 million, 4% above Q3 2016.
All operational business segments were profitable on an underlying basis.
Diluted EPS of $0.62, up 5% over Q3 2016 and underlying¹ diluted EPS of $0.81, up 14% over Q3 2016.
Cash flow from operating activities of $33.5 million (Q3 2016: $39.3 million). $636.2 million of cash and cash equivalents, $12.4 million below September 30, 2016.
On November 1, 2017, the company completed the acquisition of 100% of the voting equity interests in Silego Technology, a leader in Configurable Mixed-Signal ICs (CMICs) for $276 million, on a cash and debt-free basis, subject to adjustments for cash and working capital, and additional contingent consideration of up to $30.4 million. ■
