Russia Challenging the half-a-million fine
FAS issued injunctions to hold Google Inc. and Google Ireland Limited administratively liable for failure to execute FAS injunctions. Each company had to pay 500,000 RUB ($17,000 together).
Google Inc. filed a lawsuit to Moscow Arbitration Court challenging the half-a-million fine. The Court of First Instance and the Appeal Court confirmed legitimacy of the imposed fine.
On 18 September 2015, FAS found that Google Inc, Google Ireland Ltd. violated the antimonopoly law by abusing dominance and requested to eliminate the violation.

The hearing on a similar fine upon Google Ireland Limited is scheduled at Moscow Arbitration Court on 16 March 2017. ■
