Oil exploration   The refinery remains partly shut

Norway’s Petroleum Safety Authority says it will investigate a naphtha leakthat halted production on the morning of October 24, 2017 from Statoil’s Mongstad refinery, the company's largest.

The leak caused a temporary evacuation of the 240K bbl/day refinery on Norway’s west coast, which processes crude oil from Troll and other offshore fields.

The refinery remains partly shut, and it is not clear when it could return to normal operations.
