New jobs Transformation towards a new energy landscape
Vattenfall is investing 5 billion euros in the expansion of wind and other renewable energy production.
Offshore Projects like Sandbank in Germany, Aberdeen in UK or Horns Rev 3 in Denmark, as well as the company's first large-scale solar project in connection with an onshore windfarm, are visible elements of Vattenfall's strong ambition to expand the wind capacity every year by 400 to 600 MW.
With this growth, Vattenfall creates new jobs in commercial and technical areas and has already begun the hiring process for these new positions.
More than 600 employees are working today in Renewable energy projects within the Business Area Wind. ■
