The High Court of Ireland has approved a restructuring programme for Debenhams Retail Ltd, meaning it will leave examinership in Ireland and 1,330 jobs will be saved, a report said.
Retail Kieran Wallace was appointed examiner
Debenhams Retail Ltd is the Ireland subsidiary of Debenhams. Back in May, KPMG's Kieran Wallace was appointed examiner for loss-making Debenhams Retail Ltd in a bid to save all of its 11 stores.
As part of the restructuring plan, the Irish subsidiary had secured new leases at several key stores, a report in Retail Gazette said. ■
