Europe Atkins will provide a range of services over the next five years
Atkins has been appointed by the Swedish Transport Administration, Trafikverket, to develop plans for the country’s first high speed rail mainline.
The SEK 54 billion / $5.9b scheme which is expected to become fully operational in 2035 will significantly reduce journey times, increase capacity across the railway network and act a catalyst for regional economic growth. ■
