European Union tariff quotas on Ukrainian honey for 2017 have been fully used, the Ministry of Agricultural Policy and Food of Ukraine has said.

The quota on poultry imports for the first quarter of this year has been also fully used.
According to Deputy Minister for European Integration Olha Trofimtseva, Ukraine in 2016 fully used quotas on honey, sugar, oats, barley and barley flour, malt, corn, tomatoes and other food groups.
"New statistics reiterates the importance of our work on improving access of Ukrainian agricultural exporters to the EU market," the official said.
As reported, in the framework of the Association Agreement with the EU, Ukraine can carry out duty-free supplies of 36 good items to the EU within the approved tariff quotas. ■
