From November 1 to November 30, Rosselkhoznadzor specialists will visit the Republic of Belarus to conduct a pre-shipment monitoring of the mushrooms planned to be supplied to Russia.

This was reported by "APK-Inform: Vegetables and Fruits" citing the press service of the department.

The monitoring will be carried out when these products are shipped by the companies SOOO “BONSHE”, KFH “Mushroom Country” and LLC “Logal-Bio”.

It is worth noting that these companies account for 90% of the total volume of mushrooms exported from the Republic of Belarus to the Russian Federation.

“The need for monitoring is explained by the results of earlier pre-shipment controls, which showed that the volumes supplied were much smaller than previously declared by the State Inspectorate for Seed Production, Plant Quarantine and Plant Protection of the Republic of Belarus.

“This may indicate that the missing volumes could have been supplied by companies from EU countries under the guise of a Belarusian label; companies which do not have the right to supply their products to Russia,” the Rosselkhoznadzor said in a statement.
