Rusagro finds African swine fever in Russian Belgorod region

Rusagro Group of Companies informs that on September 5, 2017 an outbreak of African swine fever (ASF) has been detected at 1 of 24 production sights in Belgorod region.
Disease   The risk of transferring the virus is minimum
In accordance with the Resolution issued by the governor of Belgorod region the company quarantined the livestock, launched its liquidation and started implementation of the measures to eliminate further spread of the virus.

Results of the analysis showed no contamination at other production sights of the company. Thanks to the distance between the sights the risk of transferring the virus is minimum.

All the livestock of the company is insured, including from ASF. The company estimates possible losses in production and sales as not considerable.
