Iceland caught more fish in December 2015, compared with the same period in 2014, according to figures by Statistics Iceland.
Fishing Iceland caught 49,362 tonnes
The total volume of fish caught in December 2015 increased by 1,639 tonnes, or 3.4 percent, compared with that of the same period in 2014.
The total fish caught in 2015 was about 1.32 million tonnes, an increase of 21.8 percent compared with that of the previous year. ■
