Overall, such compensations would reach 1.2 billion crowns (44.40 million euros).

In the spring, the government had already released 300 million crowns from its budget reserve.

WWe expect that farmers will receive the money in October," said the Minister of Agriculture Marian Jureska (KDU-CSL). According to government spokesperson Markéta Jezková, 500 million will go to farmers in livestock production, with the other 100 million crowns paid, for example, for growers devoted to fruit, vegetables, ornamental or fruit tree nurseries.
