Bulgaria's producer price index in agriculture decreased by 5.7 percent year-on-year in the third quarter of 2016, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) said.

The prices of live animals and animal products decreased by 4.6 percent and 3.0 percent respectively, NSI said.
Meanwhile, the index of prices of goods and services currently consumed in agriculture in the third quarter of 2016 was 4.3 percent below the level of the same quarter of previous year, NSI said.
The prices of energy and fuels dropped by 10.4 percent while the prices of fertilizers decreased by 26.6 percent, according to NSI. ■
