Brazilian coffee exports totaled 2.4 million bags in April, a decline of 25% over the same month of last year.

“Inventories were performing well until March. However, since this month, due to the intercrop and the good annual performance of exports and domestic consumption, there was an already expected decline in its levels.
It’s a one-off thing and the expectation is that the market resumes growth in the next few months with the opening of a new crop”, said Cecafé’s president, Nelson Carvalhaes, in a statement released by the council. ■
