Zambeef appoints three directors

ZambeefZambeef, a cold chain foods and retail business, announced the appointment of three new non-executive directors: Yollard Kachinda, Margaret Kunda Chalwe-Mudenda, and Enala Lyson Tembo-Mwase.

Yollard Kachinda is a Zambian national and is currently Director General of the National Pension Scheme Authority (NAPSA) which holds 8.3 percent of the Company's equity.

Mr. Kachinda studied Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Zambia and has a Masters in Social Protection Financing from Maastricht University.

Margaret Kunda Chalwe-Mudenda is a Zambian lawyer.

She previously worked as a legal practitioner from 1996 to 2009, during which time she was also employed by Zambia National Commercial Bank Plc (Zanaco), a Zambian financial services company, as in-house counsel between 1999 and 2004.

Since 2010, Ms. Chalwe-Mudenda has been Director General of Zambia Information and Communications Authority (Zicta), an regulator which is under Zambian government supervision.

Ms. Chalwe-Mudenda has a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Zambia (UNZA), a post graduate diploma in legislative drafting from the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Educdation (ZIALE) and a Master of Law degree (LLM) in Information Technology and Telecommunications (ITT) Southampton University.

Enala Lyson Tembo-Mwase is a prominent Zambian academic.

She is an Associate Professor of Parasitology at the University of Zambia where she served for 29 years.

Ms. Tembo-Mwase is currently University of Zambia's Deputy Vice Chancellor, and briefly served as the university's acting Vice Chancellor from June 2015 to July 2016.

Ms. Tembo-Mwase has a Bachelor of Science degree in biological sciences from the University of Zambia, a Master of Science (Medical Parasitology) and Doctorate degree (Zoology-Entomology) from the University of London.
