Victory Ventures appoints two as directors
Both Mr. Bastedo and Mr. Place have previously served as advisers to the company.
Mr. Bastedo has been a chartered professional accountant in British Columbia since 2004, auditing and advising public and private entities across a broad spectrum of industries, including resource exploration, technology and financial services.
His 15 years in Vancouver professional services firms and consulting with clientele of various sizes brings a wealth of regulatory and financial knowledge. In 2006, Mr. Bastedo became a registered certified public accountant in Illinois, United States.
Mr. Place is a registered professional geoscientist (PGeo) in the province of British Columbia (1992) and, in this function, has worked for government and private industry as a consultant for 24 years, including engineering groups, environmental assessment specialists and private industrial mineral developers.
He has more than 30 years of experience providing support to government and private organizations carrying out construction and mining operations, including property assessment, project planning, and management, supervision and administration, for all types of engineering and development projects.
Greg Thomson has resigned as a member of the board of directors of Victory Ventures Inc. ■
