Thomas B. Fargo Joins Northrop Grumman Board of Directors

May 21, 2008, Los Angeles, Ca., USA - Northrop Grumman Corporation announced that retired U.S. Navy Admiral Thomas B. Fargo has been elected to the company's board of directors.
Mr. Fargo is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy. Mr. Fargo served as commander of the U.S. Pacific Command leading the largest unified command while directing the joint operations of the Army, Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force from May 2002 until his retirement from
the United States Navy in March 2005. Mr. Fargo was responsible to the President and the Secretary of Defense through the chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff and was the U.S. military representative for collective defense arrangements in the Pacific. Mr. Fargo's naval career included six tours in Washington, D.C., in addition to five commands in the Pacific, Indian Ocean, and Middle East, which included serving as Commander-in-Chief of the U.S. Pacific Fleet and Commander of the Naval Forces of the Central Command.
Mr. Fargo is president and chief executive officer of Hawaii Superferry as part of his duties as managing director of J.F. Lehman & Company. Mr. Fargo also served as president of Trex Enterprises Corporation. Mr. Fargo serves on the boards of directors for Hawaiian Electric Industries, Hawaiian Airlines and USAA, and he also serves on the board of directors of the Japan-America Society of Hawaii, the I'olani School Board of Governors, and the Hawaii Pacific University Board of Trustees. Mr. Fargo is the national vice chairman of the Pearl Harbor Memorial Fund.
